We are leaving POO behind!

My friend and colleague Mary MacNab, with whom we are presenting Beyond Mysticism together, recently bought our fundraiser Talks Rules of Engagement - Entering the New Paradigm, and wrote me back with the funniest observation which I just had to share with you, simply because it is so funny and true!!

She mentioned this particular section of the talks:

“Power”, even the word “power” has a lot of emotional and ego charge in it, the word as well as the concept.

The entire paradigm we are moving out of is based on Power Over Others. The society we carved out is based on power over others and power over environment. Concepts which were seen as advanced and necessary for the good of humanity. Which is why so many individuals react in fear or negativity when they hear the word “power”. The concept is that power has a hierarchical format, that there are people out there who are either less, or more, powerful than we are. Although we might think this structure is only used by “dark workers”, it is not. It is also used by “light workers”. For example, in order to be of service to others, a person needs individuals, or situations, around them that either have sleeping individuals (who they can help awaken), or victims (who they can help out). The lightworker, is then in a position of having power over others who are not powerful enough to help themselves. When someone is in the path of Bodhisattva, they need people and environments that are suffering, so they can go in and help out. It is a good path to eventually leave the cycle of power over others, but it is the path, not the destination.

And she wrote to me saying...

"The reality leaving is based on Power Over Others....
it's based on POO!"

I found the whole thing extremely funny. And particularly because there is so much truth in it!

It is so cool. Sometimes in the seriousness of it all, we forget to laugh, yeah out loud!

I have thought about this idea of how to help without needing people to be suffering or a "victim" of their circumstances because everyone has their own kind of beauty regardless. I think that just like cleaning the windows to see the beauty outside and let more light in, we can be in service as a radiant force that helps people get a clearer, more beautiful view of themselves and the world. Just like you, Inelia, our radiant role model!

No tengo palabras para describir la gratitud por el trabajo que estais realizando, y aunque estas dos sencillas palabras se queden cortas en comparación, y a falta de otras que se aproximen más.... muchísimas gracias!
Y ahí vuelvo con las preguntas.
Hace poco te pedí consejo para situaciones en que se sufre abusos; este tema lleva un tiempo preocupándome, y quería precisar un poco más. Quería saber si el hecho de sufrir abusos significa estar en un camino que no quiero recorrer, en el viejo paradigma.
Quería saber si hay una fecha límite para estos abusos, o si se pueden disolver procesando los miedos. Antes los sufría despierta; ahora, muchas veces cuando me despierto sé que ha ocurrido, me lo dice mi cuerpo. Quería saber si hay alguna herramienta de protección para cuando dormimos.
Pronto volveré a abrir una cuenta en Facebook, le estoy pillando el truco bastante bien a esto de procesar los miedos.

Of course we are leaving POO behind. Its functional placement allows no other trajectory. Unless you mean we no longer eat in a higher dimension. Maybe I better read the article.

Just kidding. I've always wanted to play with POO since such fun was denied me by a strict toilet-training parent.

I hope this oddity of a comment passes the spiritual sniff test, even if it only smells of mirth.
